4 Types of Physical Key Position and Colour-Coded Anti-Misinsertion Features
The W04 product features four types of physical key position anti-misinsertion mechanisms, with each key position assigned a specific colour. This prevents misalignment when multiple connectors with the same number of pins are used for blind mating, significantly improving the fault tolerance for customers.
CPA Design: During the product assembly stage, due to high levels of background noise in the factory, the typical ‘click’ sound of conventional latches is often difficult for staff to hear clearly. The CPA design of the W04 ensures that the connector is securely mated, preventing future loosening or detachment caused by the connector not being fully seated. At the same time, the CPA significantly increases the retention force once the connector is mated, thereby enhancing the overall strength of the connector.
FPC/FFC Using the SMT Process
The SMT process is characterised by its maturity, robustness, reliability and ease of inspection. Its application in the manufacture of FPC/FFCs is well-suited to FPC/FFC applications that demand high levels of reliability and resistance to vibration and shock.
